I woke up today to an allergy attack at 4 am. Maybe it's the dogs, or the heater or maybe it's just my body's response to today. The cultural climate feels uncomfortable, unsure & unpredictable. The state of our country feels at odds, polarized, in survival mode & fearful of what the election may bring today.
This week I have seen flags fly, people on both sides arrested, fights erupt and emotions become very high. Like everything in 2020, things feel out of control and we're all on our toes just waiting for mass chaos to erupt.
Through it all the word KINDNESS comes to mind. We may not agree with what others say, do or respond today or any other day. However, we do have the ability to choose kindness.
