On this driving adventure- my wife and I have had a lot of time to talk. And one topic of conversation that comes up often is our bucket lists. As a child my wife visited Coronado, CA every summer. She stayed with her family at the hotel on the Navy base. As a child she dreamed of staying in the fancy Hotel Del Coronado. She even brought me to Coronado when we were in college and I was playing in a soccer tournament in San Diego just to show me the hotel. She wasn't wrong- it is beautiful. Today I surprised her with a two night stay at Hotel Del Coronado. She can cross that off her bucket list. Check!
