Live Moore was born out of one man’s powerful realization: that life is precious, fleeting, and meant to be fully lived.

At just 32 years old, while battling stage IV cancer, Matt Moore began a passion project alongside his wife, Nikki, and their infant son, Cullen. As a financial advisor, Matt had spent his career helping others plan for the future—but he suddenly found himself face-to-face with the truth that the future isn’t guaranteed. What is guaranteed is the present moment—and how we choose to live it.

Throughout his 16-month battle, Matt focused on what mattered most: slowing down, creating memories, connecting deeply, and embracing the love around him. As someone who had always given freely to others, he and his family experienced what it meant to be on the receiving end of kindness. That experience became the heartbeat of a new mission: to encourage others to live intentionally and pass kindness forward, no matter what life brings.

From that vision, the Live Moore Challenge was created—an open invitation to engage in everyday acts of kindness and to make the most of each and every day.

Matt passed away on April 25, 2017, but his message lives on.
